De wedstrijd FC Groningen – PEC Zwolle, de huidige nummers 4 en 7 van de ranglijst, mag rekenen op veel belangstelling van publiek en sponsors. De kaartverkoop loopt als een trein en dat belooft een zeer goed gevuld Euroborg op zondag 24 november.
Vergeleken met voorgaande reguliere thuiswedstrijden zijn er nog relatief weinig kaarten beschikbaar voor de wedstrijd die zondagmiddag op het favoriete aanvangstijdstip van 14.30 uur zal worden gespeeld in Euroborg. Op zondagmiddag openen de kassa’s bij Ingang 2 om 13.00 uur. Pepernoten Op dat moment openen ook het FC Café en de beide horecapleinen en het stadion. Zondag zullen ook de sponsorplaatsen zeer goed gevuld zijn. Zowel vanuit Groningen als Zwolle is er veel belangstelling van zakelijke klanten om de wedstrijd in Euroborg te bezoeken.
Bij de horecapunten kan voor één consumptiemunt een zakje Pepernoten worden aangeschaft. In het kader van de inzamelingsactie voor Make-A-Wish door de Junior Club van FC Groningen gaat de opbrengst naar dit goede doel. Speciale gast Zondag is oud-speler Bjarne Jensen te gast in Euroborg. Hij speelde tussen 1971 en 1975 in totaal 149 wedstrijden voor FC Groningen. Voor de wedstrijd ontmoet Jensen onder anderen oud-ploeggenoten Hugo Hovenkamp, Martin Koeman, Piet Fransen, Henk Oosterwold, Peter Eimers en Jan Mennega.
Na afloop van het duel zijn de presentatiegidsen Trots op het Noorden van het Amateurconvenant deze keer verkrijgbaar bij Ingang 2 van Euroborg.
