Als publieksopwarmer maar natuurlijk vooral om de profs van FC Groningen aan te moedigen, waren de C1 en C2 van VV Poolster uit Spijk zondagmiddag als speciale gast aanwezig in de Euroborg.
De junioren verzamelden zich rond het Essent-megashirt en wapperden er fanatiek mee. Een van de wapperaars was de 14-jarige Sander Swijghuizen: ‘Het was geweldig leuk om te doen met zo veel mensen op de tribune. Ik hoop hier zelf later ook te voetballen!’ Wapperen op uitnodiging van hoofdsponsor Essent De teams van de Noord-Groninger voetbalclub stonden er op uitnodiging van FC-hoofdsponsor Essent. Verenigingen die zijn aangesloten bij het Amateurconvenant FC Groningen kunnen hun jeugdteams opgeven als wapperaar bij thuiswedstrijden van de club. Essent nodigt clubs met de leukste aanmeldingen via www.essent.nl/fc uit in de Euroborg.
