Vanmiddag, woensdag 8 mei, staat de grootste activiteit van het jaar van de FC Groningen Junior Club weer op het programma: de Junior Club Dag. Van 13.30 uur tot 17.00 uur is de ijshal van Sportcentrum Kardinge omgebouwd tot speelparadijs met tal van attracties.
De selectiespelers van FC Groningen zijn vanaf de opening om 13.30 uur tot 15.00 uur aanwezig. Clubmascotte Groby is uiteraard heel de middag present. Alle Junior Club leden zijn van harte welkom en zij mogen vrienden en vriendinnen meebrengen.
De leden van de FC Groningen Junior Club dienden zich via de website van de Junior Club wel van te voren op te geven voor deelname aan deze middag. Er hebben zich ongeveer achthonderd kinderen aangemeld voor de activiteit. Leden van de Junior Club die vandaag alsnog de Junior Club Dag willen bezoeken, kunnen zich melden bij de ingang van Sportcentrum Kardinge. Activiteiten Tijdens de Junior Club Dag zijn er onder meer verschillende springkussens, kan men racen op een heuse minikartbaan, ‘bumpervoetbal’ spelen en een parcours afleggen op een stormbaan. Daarnaast kunnen de kinderen zich laten schminken.
Naast al deze attracties worden deze middag ook voetbalshows gegeven door de mannen van BB Freestyle. De spelers van FC Groningen zullen worden uitgedaagd het tegen ze op te nemen.
