IJs en weder dienende zal FC Groningen vannacht rond 1.00 uur terugkeren in Groningen. Om 17.00 uur Portugese tijd (18.00 uur in Nederland) vertrekt de groep vanuit Porto via Frankfurt naar Bremen.
Om 14.30 uur staat de bus klaar voor vertrek bij het Villa Hotel in Guimaraes. Een halfuur later zal de ploeg op het vliegveld arriveren. Met vlucht LH4553 zal de selectie om 17.00 uur zo’n twee-en-een-half uur naar Frankfurt vliegen. Daar komt de vlucht om 20.35 uur lokale tijd aan.
Om 21.25 uur neemt de ploeg vlucht LH350 van Frankfurt naar Bremen, waar het gezelschap een uurtje later zal arriveren. Rond 23.00 uur staat de FC-spelersbus klaar om de spelersgroep en staf naar Euroborg te vervoeren. Indien zich geen bijzonderheden voordoen, zal de ploeg rond 1.00 uur op het FC-stadion terugkeren. Update: Volgens planning is de spelersbus van FC Groningen maandagavond om 22.50 uur vanuit Bremen vertrokken richting Euroborg. De selectie keert rond 0.45 uur vannacht terug in Groningen. Daarmee duurde de terugreis zo’n negen uur en meer dan een dag korter dan de heenreis die voor sommigen zo’n 36 uur in beslag nam.
