FC Groningen en Bos Incasso hebben een nieuwe shirtsponsorovereenkomst gesloten voor een periode van drie jaar. Bos Incasso staat al sinds het seizoen 2003/2004 met haar naam op de achterzijde van het thuisshirt en op de broeken van de Trots van het Noorden.
FC Groningen is zeer verheugd met de nieuwe verbintenis, zo laat manager commerciële zaken Robbert Klaver weten. “Wij hebben met algemeen directeur Henk Bos van Bos Incasso diverse constructieve gesprekken gevoerd waarin wij uitvoerig onze ambitieuze plannen hebben toegelicht. Bos Incasso heeft daarbij aangegeven partner te willen blijven van FC Groningen, om in gezamenlijkheid met de club de verworven positie van FC Groningen in de Eredivisie te continueren en verder uit te bouwen.”
Ook directeur Henk Bos geeft aan content te zijn dat het contract met FC Groningen met drie jaar wordt verlengd. “Middels de sponsoring van FC Groningen willen wij onze landelijke naamsbekendheid nog verder vergroten. Wat ons in het nieuwe contract met name aanspreekt, zijn de mogelijkheden om tezamen met FC Groningen op het maatschappelijk vlak dingen te kunnen organiseren en realiseren.”
Zowel FC Groningen als Bos Incasso wenst geen uitspraken te doen over het bedrag dat met de nieuwe overeenkomst is gemoeid. Beide partijen willen wel benadrukken dat het sponsorbedrag substantieel hoger is dan in de afgelopen seizoenen.
