FC Groningen organiseert maandag 15 november in samenwerking met Elker en Humanitas een voorlichtingsavond voor gast- en pleeggezinnen. Vraag je je wel eens af of je gast- of pleeggezin zou kunnen zijn voor een kind of jongere? Kom dan naar de voorlichtingsavond op maandag 15 november in Euroborg. Aanvangstijdstip 19.30 uur.
De Opleiding van FC Groningen barst van de regionale jonge voetballers die dagelijks keihard werken om hun sportieve droom te verwezenlijken. In de bovenbouw van de Opleiding wordt ook nationaal en internationaal gescout. Jonge voetballers die naar FC Groningen komen, worden opgevangen in gastgezinnen. Een gastgezin biedt de voetballer een thuis en helpt daardoor mee aan het verwezenlijken van de droom; profvoetballer worden.
Waar FC Groningen op zoek is naar gastgezinnen voor (buitenlandse) spelers, zijn ook vrijwilligersorganisatie Humanitas en jeugdhulporganisatie Elker op zoek naar gast- en pleegouders. Mensen met ruimte in hun huis en hun hart die een kind of jongere kunnen opvangen vanuit een lastige thuissituatie. Soms structureel, soms voor af en toe zodat een kind even de zinnen kan verzetten. Bij het vinden van gast- en pleeggezinnen slaan de drie partijen nu de handen inéén.
“We organiseren op maandag 15 november in Euroborg een informatieve voorlichtingsavond voor potentiële gast- en pleeggezinnen,” zegt Luca Leithuijser, topsportbegeleider bij de FC Groningen Opleiding. “Wanneer je de tijd en ruimte hebt, kun je kinderen echt helpen. In hun verdere ontwikkeling, in groei en bij FC Groningen een stap dichter bij de droom om in volle stadions te spelen. Door samen te werken hopen we een grotere groep gast- en pleegouders te kunnen aanspreken en ook te leren van elkaars ervaringen. We nodigen dan ook iedereen die wel eens overweegt gast- of pleeggezin te worden van harte uit om zich vrijblijvend te laten informeren op maandag 15 november vanaf 19.30 uur in Euroborg.
