FC Groningen zal ook komend seizoen met een Amateurconvenant Seizoengids komen. Na de vele positieve reacties op de vorige editie is besloten wederom een prachtig boekwerk te maken. Alle aangesloten amateurverenigingen hebben tot donderdag 31 mei de kans aan hun eigen pagina invulling te geven.
Elke convenantpartner heeft een redactiepagina aangeboden gekregen, waarop de vereniging zichzelf kan voorstellen. Dit levert een handig naslagwerk op voor clubs en noordelijke voetballiefhebbers. Bovendien wordt de interactie en binding versterkt. Niet alleen met FC Groningen, maar ook wat betreft de convenantpartners onderling. Contactgegevens Zo staan er op de clubpagina’s contactgegevens om bijvoorbeeld onderlinge oefenwedstrijden te organiseren. De gids van komend seizoen zal meer gericht zijn op goede initiatieven van amateurclubs, zodat clubs van elkaar ideeën kunnen opdoen en kunnen leren. FC Groningen gaat daaraan ook een bijdrage leveren door haar eigen werkzaamheden te vertalen naar het amateurvoetbal.
Initiatiefnemer Niek Hollewand heeft veel positieve reacties gekregen op de verschijning van de eerste uitgave van de seizoengids, vorig jaar. “Uit een evaluatie, waarin de mening van verschillende amateurclubs is meegenomen, is gebleken dat het drukwerk bij iedereen positief is ontvangen. Voor ons is dat een goede reden om ook in het seizoen 2013/2014 een gids uit te brengen.” Initiatieven De bedoeling is dat de seizoengids kort na aanvang van het nieuwe amateurseizoen verschijnt. De seizoengids is één van de vele initiatieven van FC Groningen Amateurconvenant. Middels het convenant wil de Trots van het Noorden het algemene voetbalniveau en de voetbalbeleving in Noord-Nederland stimuleren. Op dit moment telt het Amateurconvenant 185 aangesloten amateurverenigingen uit de provincies Groningen, Drenthe en Friesland.
In 2012 heeft het Amateurconvenant veel aandacht besteed aan de naamsbekendheid. De seizoengids speelt daarin een belangrijke rol. In 2013 wil het convenant meer en meer inspelen op de behoeften van de amateurclubs.
