FC Groningen bestaat 16 juni 2016, exact 45 jaar. Vanwege dit jubileum organiseert de Trots van het Noorden tot en met zaterdag 18 juni een expositie in Euroborg waarin de geschiedenis van de club wordt verteld aan de hand van honderd geselecteerde foto’s: Moments of History.
Deze expositie is voor het publiek tot en met vrijdag 17 juni van 9.00 uur tot 17.30 uur en op zaterdag 18 juni van 10.00 uur tot 17.00 uur vrij toegankelijk te bezoeken in het stadion. Vrije toegang Sinds zaterdag 11 juni heeft het publiek vrije toegang om de foto’s over het 45-jarig bestaan van de club te bekijken. Daarnaast geven voormalige spelers van FC Groningen op gezette tijden rondleidingen door de catacomben van het stadion en het perscentrum van Euroborg. Zij vertellen daarbij persoonlijke verhalen uit hun FC-tijd. Namen De rondleidingen worden verzorgd door onder anderen verzorger Henk Hagenauw, teammanager Bas Roorda, jeugdtrainer Sander van Gessel en de kersverse trainer van SC Cambuur A1, Hugo Alves Velame. Alle rondleidingen met deze oud-spelers zijn inmiddels volledig volgeboekt.
Win een jaar lang gratis rijden! Alle honderd foto’s deze foto’s zijn genummerd en bezoekers van de expositie ontvangen een formulier waarop ze achter elke nummer een jaartal kunnen noteren waarin zij denken dat deze foto is genomen. Degene die de beste score haalt wint een jaar lang gratis rijden, aangeboden door Privelease.nl van Noordlease. De winnaar krijgt er ook een tankpas bij (tot maximaal €1.000).
