Inwoners uit de gemeente Haren, die gebruik willen maken van het aanbod van FC Groningen om zondag gratis aanwezig te zijn bij de competitiewedstrijd tegen Roda JC, kunnen zich hiervoor ook vrijdag nog melden bij kledingzaak Engel de Bengel in Haren. FC Groningen stelt nog eens 250 extra kaarten beschikbaar voor de getroffen inwoners van het dorp.
FC Groningen stelde afgelopen dinsdag voor de competitiewedstrijd tegen Roda JC van komende zondag in Euroborg vijfhonderd kaarten beschikbaar aan de gemeente Haren voor inwoners en ondernemers, die getroffen zijn door de ongeregeldheden in het dorp, vorge week vrijdag. Deze gratis kaarten werden donderdag verstrekt bij Engel de Bengel in Haren. Om 17.30 uur, een half uur voor sluitingstijd van de kledingzaak, waren er 430 van de 500 kaarten uitgereikt. De reacties waren zeer positief. Legitimatie Omdat FC Groningen signalen kreeg dat nog meer inwoners, die donderdag overdag niet in de gelegenheid waren een kaart op te halen, geïnteresseerd zijn in de geste van de FC heeft de club besloten nog eens 250 extra kaarten te verstrekken. Inwoners van Haren kunnen vrijdag vanaf 10.00 uur op vertoon van een legitimatiebewijs per persoon maximaal twee kaarten ophalen in kledingzaak Engel de Bengel van eigenaresse Ineke Feenstra. Vrijdag is het bovendien koopavond in Haren, waardoor nog meer mensen in de gelegenheid zullen zijn om van het aanbod gebruik te maken. Geste Engel de Bengel is gevestigd aan de Brinkhorst 9 in Haren. De Trots van het Noorden wil met deze geste de gedupeerde bewoners uit het dorp een hart onder de riem steken. Ook de ondernemers in Haren, die eveneens zwaar zijn gedupeerd, hebben kaarten aangeboden gekregen van FC Groningen.
