FC Groningen TV begint de tweede seizoenshelft vanavond met een bezoek een Eurocup Delfzijl waar FC Groningen D1 zondag als zesde eindigde. Daarnaast is FCG TV aanwezig bij de nieuwjaarsreceptie van de Hattrick’s Club en bij de bekendmaking van de komst van het nieuwe trainingscomplex van de FC, medio 2015.
Afgelopen weekeinde eindigde FC Groningen D1 op de zesde plaats tijdens de succesvolle tweede editie van Eurocup Delfzijl. Het was een tikkeltje een teleurstellend resultaat omdat FC Groningen vorig jaar nog de finale wist te bereiken. Maar de 5-2 overwinning op sc Heerenveen maakte veel goed, ook bij doelpuntenmakers Pim Betzema en Joshua Sion. Het toernooi werd verrassend gewonnen door het regioteam, bestaande uit talentvolle voetballers uit de regio’s Delfzijl en Appingedam, dat in de finale titelverdediger KV Mechelen met 2-1 versloeg.
Afgelopen vrijdag werd in het gemeentehuis van Groningen bekend gemaakt dat FC Groningen medio 2015 het nieuwe trainingscomplex op Corpus den Hoorn gaat betrekken. FC Groningen krijgt straks de beschikking over zeven velden, waarvan drie nieuwe velden die gaan bestaan uit een moderne combinatie van natuur- en kunstgras. Op het huidige trainingsveld zal een nieuwe sporthal verrijzen die gebruikt gaat worden door de gemeente en het Noorderpoort College. Dig Istha, wethouder van de gemeente Groningen, en Hans Nijland vertellen in FCG TV waarom het nieuwe trainingscomplex zo belangrijk is voor FC Groningen.
FC Groningen bracht maandagavond ook een bezoek een de nieuwjaarsreceptie van de Hattrick’s Club, de businessclub van FC Groningen. Aan de in grote getale opgekomen sponsors liet Hans Nijland onder meer weten dat Emil Johansson per direct een contract heeft getekend bij de Noorse club Sandnes Ulf. Tot en met 31 januari kunnen er nog spelers vertrekken. Nijland laat aan FCG TV weten hoe het er verder voor staat wat betreft belangstelling voor spelers van FC Groningen.
Vorige maand was in FC Groningen TV te zien dat FC Groningen verdediger Nick Bakker een bezoek bracht aan de workshop ‘Music meets Sports’, een workshop die laat zien dat musiceren en sporten veel overeenkomsten vertonen. Vanavond zie je hoe Bakker het ervan afbrengt bij het bespelen van een trompet en waarom oud-FC Groningen speler Henk de Haan op zijn zestiende koos voor voetballen in plaats van musiceren.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.45 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 22.00 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5. Morgen is FCG TV te zien om 14.05 uur op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
