Vandaag brengt de Eredivisie voor het derde opeenvolgende jaar het Eredivisie Fan Onderzoek uit. Maar liefst 40.000 seizoenkaarthouders en clubcardhouders van Eredivisie clubs hebben dit jaar de gelegenheid genomen een uitgebreide vragenlijst over hun favoriete club te beantwoorden. Het behoort hiermee tot de grootste fan onderzoeken in Europa.
Alex Tielbeke, directeur Eredivisie CV: “Het Eredivisie Fan onderzoek biedt de clubs nuttige en concrete informatie die gebruikt wordt om de dienstverlening nog beter af te stemmen op de wensen en behoeften van de fans. Het succes van de voorgaande uitgaven heeft inmiddels bewezen hoe waardevol het is om de fans te betrekken. Dat er wederom ruim 40.000 supporters gebruik maken van de mogelijkheid om hun stem te laten horen zegt veel over de betrokkenheid bij hun club.”
Het Eredivisie Fan Onderzoek wordt uitgevoerd sinds het seizoen 2009/’10. Het biedt fans de gelegenheid om kenbaar te maken wat er volgens hen goed gaat bij de club en wat eventueel verbeterd kan worden. Enkele resultaten van deze jaargang omvatten:
– De veiligheid in en rondom het stadion wordt positief beoordeeld: driekwart van de supporters zegt zich altijd veilig te voelen in het stadion. – Steeds meer fans nemen hun kinderen mee naar het stadion – Seizoenkaarthouders bezoeken gemiddeld liefst vijftien thuiswedstrijden van hun club per seizoen. – Eredivisiefans komen vaker op een milieuvriendelijke manier naar het stadion: met de fiets, het openbaar vervoer of lopend. – Bijna alle fans vinden maatschappelijke betrokkenheid van hun club (zeer) belangrijk. Vrouwen vinden deze betrokkenheid zelfs nog iets belangrijker dan mannen. – Losse kaarten worden steeds vaker besteld via het internet. Het aantal mensen dat toegangskaarten voor thuiswedstrijden online bestelt stijgt ieder seizoen. – Het aantal Facebook gebruikers onder Eredivisiesupporters is ten opzichte van vorig seizoen verdubbeld.
