Aanstaande vrijdag 24 februari introduceert voetbalzender Eredivisie Live bij aanvang van de 23ste speelronde zijn tweede scherm: Eredivisie Live Sidekick. Deze nieuwe bron van aanvullende en verdiepende wedstrijdinformatie is vanaf dat moment voor iedereen gratis beschikbaar via www.eredivisielive.nl/sidekick en is geschikt voor alle laptops, tablets en pc’s.
Eredivisie Live Sidekick, het Tweede Scherm van Eredivisie Live, is een interactieve website die ondersteunend is aan de live wedstrijden op TV en aanvullende informatie biedt. Op overzichtelijke wijze wordt de kijker voorzien van een breed scala aan wedstrijdstatistieken, video’s, analyses, interviews, quizvragen en stellingen. Naast het volgen van de continue informatiestroom kunnen de fans tijdens de live wedstrijd ook reageren op gebeurtenissen en hun mening geven. De resultaten hiervan worden vervolgens gedoseerd vertoond op het eerste scherm waar men de live wedstrijd volgt.

Eredivisie Live Sidekick brengt de TV kijker een rijk aanbod aan wedstrijdinformatie. Enkele hoogtepunten daarin zijn: – De tijdlijn: een live overzicht met alle hoogtepunten van de wedstrijd, gecombineerd met interessante feiten over de wedstrijd, tips van de analisten in de studio, quiz vragen en polls. – Analyseer zelf de wedstrijd en speelwijze van de teams. ‘Heatmaps’ geven aan op welke positie in het veld de spelers in balbezit zijn. – Een ‘windroos’ geeft aan in welke richting de passes plaatsvinden.
