De vrijdag- en zaterdagochtendtraining van de eerste selectie van FC Groningen wordt in beide gevallen in het stadion gehouden. Bij de twee trainingssessies, die om 10.00 uur starten, is publiek welkom. De toegang tot het stadion is via ingang 1.
Tot en met donderdag heeft de spelersgroep in verband met de ingetreden vorst de oefensessies afgewerkt op het kunstgrasveld van Haren, op het sportcomplex van VV Haren en VV Gorecht. De selectie van trainer Pieter Huistra bereidt zich voor op de competitiewedstrijd tegen RKC Waalwijk, zondag 5 februari om 16.30 uur in Euroborg. Voor dit duel zijn nog voldoende kaarten beschikbaar in diverse vakken in het stadion. Wijzigingen Wijzigingen in het trainingsschema worden op het laatste moment doorgevoerd, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden en de gesteldheid van het trainingsveld. Supporters en andere belangstellenden, die de veldtrainingen graag volgen, dienen in de wintermaanden rekening te houden met veranderingen in het programma. Vaak wordt een dergelijke beslissing pas op de ochtend zelf genomen en is het lastig iedereen op tijd te bereiken en/of op de hoogte te stellen van een wijziging. Twitter FC Groningen zal eventuele wijzigingen in het trainingsschema zo snel mogelijk doorvoeren op de website. Tevens wordt hiervoor het twitter-account van de club www.twitter.com/jdnijland ingezet. Belangstellenden voor een veldtraining, die twijfelen over het doorgaan ervan, kunnen op werkdagen ook contact opnemen met de afdeling Supporterszaken, te bereiken via 050 – 587 87 87 (optie 1 in het menu).
