FC Groningen heeft afgelopen zondag een nieuw innovatief initiatief in de markt gezet. Voorafgaand aan het competitieduel met FC Utrecht werd de E-Boxx officieel in gebruik genomen. Inrichter van deze prachtige nieuwe sociëteit is Addie Rozema van het Groningse bedrijf ZO ingericht.
Na de eerder door FC Groningen bedachte succesvolle formules van de Vastgoedlounge en Energy Valley Topclub komen in deze sociëteit bedrijven samen, die zich bezig houden met internet, media en marketing. Wat zijn de effecten van e-commerce? Wat is de veranderende rol van radio, televisie en gedrukte media? Wat is een trend en wat is een hype? En: hoe kan de landelijke – en steeds meer internationale – actieradius van de Noordelijke internetbedrijven nóg meer worden verbonden met de Noordelijke gemeenschap? Inspiratielounge Rond deze vragen en uitdagingen hebben een aantal bedrijven en organisaties in dit werkveld in Euroborg een inspirerend, nieuw concept neergezet: de E-Boxx. Een inspiratielounge waar bedrijven en organisaties, die te maken hebben met marketing, communicatie, web, e-commerce en trends, rond de thuiswedstrijden van FC Groningen een inspirerend podium vinden, eigentijds vormgegeven en designed door Addie Rozema van ZO ingericht. FC Groningen Museum Bijzonder is tevens dat in de E-Boxx ook het virtuele FC Groningen Museum wordt gehuisvest, dit in samenwerking met het Noorderpoort.
De officiële opening was tevens een vooruitblik op de programmering in de E-Boxx en had als thema: ‘Communicatie, gekker moet het niet worden’ en werd ingeleid door Kees Toering (programmamanager Radio 2 en bedenker van de Top2000), Pieter Sijpersma (hoofdredacteur Dagblad van het Noorden), Hilde Roothart (trendwatcher – oprichter Trendslator Amsterdam) en Wilfred Genee (tv-presentator van Voetbal International). Gesprekleider was Erik Hogeboom, nieuwe media specialist van RTV Noord.
