Van de zes jeugdteams van de RVO Groningen spelen er zaterdag liefst vier op Groningse bodem. De D1 bijt het spits af tegen Zwolle. C2 en A1 spelen achtereenvolgens tegen Vitesse/AGOVV en AZ. De D2 speelt ’s avonds een voorwedstrijd in Euroborg.
Voor de D1 begint de voetbalzaterdag om 10.30 uur met een thuisduel tegen FC Zwolle. Om 12.00 uur trappen de C2’s van RVO Groningen en Vitesse/AGOVV af op kunstgras. Om 14.00 uur is het de beurt aan de oudste jeugdteams. RVO FC Groningen A1 en AZ A1 treden dan in het strijdperk op het hoofdveld van GRC op Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn.
Liefhebbers van het jeugdvoetbal kunnen daarna vrijwel meteen door naar Euroborg, waar de D2 een vriendschappelijke wedstrijd afwerkt tegen RWE Eemsmond. Dat duel begint om 18.55 uur. Om 20.45 uur begint het duel tussen de eerste elftallen van FC Groningen en AZ. De B1 is vrij. C1 speelt eerder die middag een uitwedstrijd tegen AFC C1. Aanvang in Amsterdam is 12.15 uur.
