Zondag 24 juli wordt om 13.40 op Eredivisie Live 1 de documentaire 'Het is een volksclub, FC Groningen door de ogen van supporter Jos Leuvenkamp' uitgezonden. De docu is gemaakt door Annica Tjalma (ism FC Groningen TV) als afstudeeropdracht voor haar studie Mediastiek aan de Hanzehogeschool.
FC Groningen-archivaris Jos Leuvenkamp vertelt over de belangrijkste gebeurtenissen in 40 jaar FC Groningen. Zo zien we de historische beelden van de eerste Europese wedstrijden tegen Atletico Madrid en Inter Milan. Maar natuurlijk ook het geweldige seizoen ’90-’91 waarin de FC tot kort voor het einde van de competitie meestreed om het kampioenschap.
Samen met ‘Mister FC Groningen’ Jan van Dijk kijkt Leuvenkamp terug op de mooie maar ook minder mooie jaren in het Oosterpark en later Euroborg. Deze documentaire is mede dankzij Martini Sport en Business tot stand gekomen.
Zondag 24 juli, 13.40 uur op Eredivisie Live 1, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – HSV.
