In samenwerking met IBM, de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen en verschillende sponsorrelaties werd enkele weken geleden een Design Thinking Workshop georganiseerd in het stadion van FC Groningen. IBM was de workshopleider en heeft de bijeenkomst gefaciliteerd. Het was een middag waarbij veel creativiteit op tafel kwam. Het was de laatste voorbereiding op de FC Groningen Digital Business Challenge die een week later op het programma stond en waar maar liefst vijftig studenten uit de gehele wereld aan meededen.
Tijdens de workshop, verzorgd vanuit de TopDutch lounge in het stadion, werd nagedacht over de wensen en behoeften die vanuit de FC Groningen Business Club en bij de zakelijke partners van de club spelen. Door dat goed in kaart te hebben kunnen studenten aan de Digital Business Challlenge zo optimaal mogelijke oplossingen aandragen voor de uitdagingen waar FC Groningen zakelijk tegenaan loopt. Het verbinden van sponsors onderling en het verbinden van sponsors met supporters stond centraal tijdens de vraagstukken van de Design Thinking Workshop.
FC Groningen heeft als pijler in het beleidsplan 2020-2025 Samen naar de Grote Markt omschreven het grootste en best verbindende zakelijke platform te willen zijn. Het zoeken van verbindingen, onderling en als club met sponsorrelaties en partners is van groot belang om samen te kunnen groeien.
De Design Thinking Workshop als voorbereiding op de driedaagse Digital Business Challenge is een mooi voorbeeld van hoe de club samenwerkt met het bedrijfsleven en de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen om zo het creatieve talent van de studenten optimaal te benutten waardoor club, sponsors en studenten uiteindelijk de kans krijgen verder te groeien en beter te worden. Binnenkort worden de resultaten van de driedaagse getoond.
