De laatste editie van het FC Groningen Journaal voor dit jaar is verschenen. In het december-nummer van de huiskrant van de Trots van het Noorden zijn interviews en reportages te lezen met onder anderen aanvoerder Sergio Padt, clubtopscorer Tom van Weert, Hans Hateboer en Tom Hiariej.
Naast genoemde onderwerpen is er in de krant ook aandacht voor de terugkeer van cultheld Milko Djurovski naar Groningen. De ‘rookmagiër’ uit Macedonië was overgekomen voor een boekpresentatie van schrijver Herman Sandman; ‘Mangup Milko’, wat zo veel wil zeggen als: ‘kwajongen Milko’.
Daarnaast is er een aangrijpend verhaal te lezen met Paul Matthijs, die drieënhalf jaar geleden zijn vrouw Miranda verloor na een slopende ziekte. Matthijs, die meer dan driehonderd officiële wedstrijden voor FC Groningen speelde en momenteel trainer is in de opleiding van de club, vertelt openhartig over hoe het nu met hem en zijn kinderen gaat.
Verspreiding
De verspreiding van het FC Groningen Journaal vond vorige week huis-aan-huis plaats in 24 gemeenten. Met de uitgave van deze krant is een totale oplage gemoeid van 260.700 exemplaren.
