Al maanden keek hij er naar uit; de wedstrijd FC Groningen-FC Twente. Want in de rust bij die wedstrijd zou zijn wens uitkomen, deelnemen aan de Shoot-Out activiteit.
Willem is in november altijd heel druk, dan gaat hij deuren bij langs om pepernoten te verkopen voor Actie Strooigoed. 680 zakjes heeft hij weten te verkopen, de opbrengst is naar Make-a-Wish Nederland gegaan. In ruil voor zijn bijdrage mocht Willem zelf ook een wens doen en die is afgelopen zondag uitgekomen. Hij mocht deelnemen aan de Shoot-Out en wist beide strafschoppen èn zijn Shoot-Out poging te benutten. Het FC Groningen tenue dat hij droeg mocht hij ook nog eens mee naar huis nemen. Het was voor Willem een dag om niet snel te vergeten!
Voorafgaand aan de wedstrijd FC Groningen-FC Twente liepen er 14 Junior Club-leden met een spelers, scheids- of grensrechter het veld op. De gelukkigen waren:
Mika Muskee, Mikai ten Have, Sven Weisbeek, Duncan Behling, Indy van Spankeren, Stijn Groenhagen, Djurre Laansma, Silvihno Ibrahim, Joey Swama, Dylan Swama, Noortje Danielle Holtvluwer, Enzo Strating, Vincent Stratingh, Robert Martijn Holtvluwer. Foto’s van de line-up zijn hier te bekijken.
