FC Groningen heeft vanmiddag (vrijdag) als opwarmer voor de 13e competitieronde wederom de show ‘FC Groningen Live: de Warming-up.’ Presentator Tom Vegter ontvangt jeugdinternational Daniël van Kaam in de Word Groter Studio in Euroborg. Ook voormalig speler van beide ploegen Marnix Kolder schuift aan. De show is vanaf 16.00 uur te zien op YouTube.
Voorafgaand aan iedere speelronde beschouwt FC Groningen voor op de wedstrijd met één of meerdere gasten vanuit de Word Groter Studio in Euroborg. De Trots van het Noorden gaat aankomende zondagmiddag in speelronde 13 op bezoek bij Go Ahead Eagles, aftrap 12.15 uur. Helaas mogen er vanwege de aangescherpte maatregelen vanwege het coronavirus geen supporters bij het duel aanwezig zijn.
De Eredivisie kende vorige week een competitieloos weekend vanwege de interlandperiode. Middenvelder Daniël van Kaam kwam wel in actie. De Groninger was opgeroepen voor Jong Oranje en speelde twee interlands die beide werden gewonnen. Van Kaam vertelt onder meer over zijn ervaringen bij Jong Oranje, hoe het is om als Groninger in het eerste van de FC te spelen en kijkt vooruit op de wedstrijd tegen Go Ahead Eagles.
Ook Marnix Kolder is te gast. De voormalig spits kwam in zijn loopbaan zowel voor FC Groningen als voor Go Ahead Eagles uit. Hoewel Kolder een echte Groninger is, kende hij zijn meest succesvolle tijd in Deventer en heeft hij nog altijd warme gevoelens voor Go Ahead. Ook Kolder was net als Van Kaam ooit jeugdinternational.
FC Groningen Live: de Warming-up is vrijdagmiddag vanaf 16.00 uur te zien op het YouTube-kanaal van FC Groningen en daarna op ieder willekeurig moment terug te kijken.
