FC Groningen TV laat vanavond zien hoe FC Groningen D1 met tikki-takka voetbal SC Genemuiden met 10-0 verslaat. Daarnaast vertelt Angelo Cijntje waarom hij dit seizoen op amateurbasis voor FC Groningen uitkomt en keert oud-FC Groningen verdediger Jeroen Veldmate voor even terug op zijn vertrouwde Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn.
FC Groningen D1 gaf afgelopen zaterdag een demonstratie van modern voetbal. Met een hoog baltempo en een keer raken werd tegenstander SC Genemuiden bij vlagen helemaal zoek gespeeld. Trainer Arjen Jorritsma beseft dat hij werkt met een sterke lichting spelers die individueel, maar ook als team dit seizoen mooie dingen kunnen laten zien, zoals de 10-0 zege van zaterdag op SC Genemuiden.
Vorige week keerde Jeroen Veldmate met Jong Heracles Almelo terug op Corpus den Hoorn, het sportpark waar hij vanaf zijn achtste jaar de gehele jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen doorliep. Veldmate speelde met Jong Heracles met 1-1 gelijk tegen Jong FC Groningen en sprak na afloop van dat duel met FCG TV over de blessure die hem tijdens zijn eerste seizoen voor Heracles parten speelde en zijn tijdelijke terugkeer op Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn.
Dit seizoen komt verdediger Angelo Cijntje op amateurbasis uit voor FC Groningen. Cijntje zat sinds medio april zonder club door het faillissement van SC Veendam. Hij trainde in de voorbereiding al mee met de beloften van FC Groningen en kan dankzij het amateurcontract dit seizoen in de competitie uitkomen voor de ploeg van trainer Paul Raveneau. Cijntje vertelt in FCG TV waarom hij bovenstaande keuze maakte en dat hij dit seizoen stiekem hoopt op speelminuten in het eerste elftal in Euroborg.
Medio november komt het boek ‘De Europese Droom’ uit. Het boek staat bol van de mooie herinneringen van supporters aan alle Europacupwedstrijden die FC Groningen tot nu toe speelde. De auteurs en tevens FC Groningen supporters Nico Swart, Bas Dölle en Bas Kammenga vertellen hoe ze op het idee kwamen om het boek te schrijven en hoe ze alle verhalen wisten te verzamelen.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 22.20 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5. Morgen is FCG TV te zien om 12.40 uur op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
