Supporters van FC Groningen kunnen vandaag in FC Groningen TV nagenieten van de fraaie 4-1 overwinning van de FC op NEC. Speciale aandacht is er voor Tjaronn Chery, Nick van der Velden en Richairo Zivkovic. Ook was FCG TV bij de seizoensopening van Jong FC Groningen. Trainer Paul Raveneau en matchwinner Yoëll van Nieff komen aan het woord.
FC Groningen begon afgelopen zaterdag de competitie op fraaie wijze door in Nijmegen met 4-1 te winnen van NEC. Voor Nick van der Velden was het een speciale wedstrijd omdat hij vorig seizoen nog in het shirt van NEC speelde. Net als Van der Velden was het duel tegen NEC voor Tjaronn Chery het officiële debuut voor FC Groningen. De middenvelder bekroonde zijn eerste minuten met een doelpunt, een assist en, vooral voor rust, uitstekend spel.
Ook voor Richairo Zivkovic was het zaterdag een bijzondere avond. Hij viel vijf minuten voor tijd in en scoorde even later de 4-1. Met het doelpunt werd hij de jongste doelpuntenmaker ooit van FC Groningen. Zivkovic kwam op 23 december 2012 voor het laatst in actie voor het eerste elftal. Zivkovic vertelt in FCG TV waarom de fans hem daarna even moesten missen.
Jong FC Groningen opende maandagavond de competitie met een 1-0 overwinning op Jong Fortuna Sittard. Het winnende doelpunt viel pas in blessuretijd en werd gemaakt door aanvoerder Yoëll van Nieff. Samen met Van Nieff en trainer Paul Raveneau kijkt FCG TV terug op de minimale, maar zeer verdiende zege van de Beloften van FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur uitgezonden op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie. De herhaling is te zien om 19.00 uur op kanaal 1, om 18.00 uur, 20.00 uur en 22.30 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur en 21.00 uur op kanaal 5 van Fox Sports Eredivisie.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de stadszender van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
