FC Groningen TV gaat vandaag droge worst maken met Nick van der Velden, kijkt hoe het ervoor staat met de C2 van FC Groningen en blikt vooruit op het duel van komende zondag tegen ADO Den Haag.
In oktober organiseerde FC Groningen een chatsessie op Twitter voor supporters met Nick van der Velden. De middenvelder kreeg onder meer de vraag voorgelegd of hij de echte Groninger droge worst al had geproefd. Van der Velden had geen idee waar het over ging en dus nam FC Groningen TV Van der Velden mee naar Tolbert waar Lammert Moes volgens een jaarlijkse verkiezing van het Dagblad van het Noorden de lekkerste droge worst van het noorden maakt. Als een volleerd slagersknecht maakte Van der Velden kennis met de Groninger droge worst. Vandaag is deel 1 te zien van het bezoek van Van der Velden aan de slager.
Afgelopen zaterdag won FC Groningen C2 met 4-1 van Cambuur C2. FC Groningen C2 staat in de competitie op de zevende plaats en hoopt nog een plaats te stijgen zodat het na de winterstop mee mag doen aan de competitie met de sterkste twaalf teams van Nederland. De C2 wordt sinds dit seizoen getraind door Gerard Wiekens. In FCG TV komt Wiekens aan het woord over zijn ploeg, net als spits Lion Kalentjev, een aanvaller met Russische roots.
Zondag is ADO Den Haag te gast in Euroborg. Op 31 oktober troffen beide teams elkaar in het Oosterparkstadion en ze maakten er toen een waar spektakelstuk van. In de tweede helft nam FC Groningen een 4-1 voorsprong terwijl het een man meer had. Maar ondanks die overtal van FC Groningen wist ADO in een spannende slotfase nog terug te komen tot 4-3. Bas Roorda was toen keeper van FC Groningen. Samen met de huidige teammanager van de FC kijkt FCG TV terug naar dat spectaculaire duel.
Komende zondag zal het voor Tjaronn Chery een speciale wedstrijd zijn. Chery speelde de afgelopen twee seizoenen voor ADO Den Haag en heeft nog steeds contact met een aantal oud-ploeggenoten. Chery gunt ze alles, maar zondag even niet. De middenvelder is hersteld van een hamstringblessure en lijkt zondag te kunnen spelen. In FCG TV is een voorbeschouwing op het duel tegen ADO te zien met Chery, trainer Erwin van de Looi en Timo Letschert.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.25 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 21.55 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 en 21.05 uur op kanaal 5. Zondag is FCG TV te zien om 14.10 uur op kanaal 5 van Fox Sports Eredivisie, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – ADO Den Haag.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
