RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur C1 is momenteel per vliegtuig onderweg van Londen naar Dallas in de Verenigde Staten. De ploeg doet komende week mee aan de 32ste editie van de Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup.
De zestien spelers en vijf stafleden van de RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur C1 verzamelden vanmorgen rond vijf uur voor vertrek naar Schiphol. Vanochtend werd de vlucht gemaakt naar Londen Heathrow. Momenteel hangt vlucht 81 van American Airlines (BA1530) boven de Atlantische Oceaan. Vanavond rond 23.45 uur (Nederlandse tijd) is de verwachte aankomst.
Op zondag is Dallas Texans Red onder-15 de eerste tegenstander van de huidige nummer vijf van de Nederlandse Eerste Divisie A voor C-junioren. Op maandag is Cosmos Academy West de tweede tegenstander in de groep C en woensdag is West Pines United FC Premier Black uit Florida de derde tegenstander.
Op dinsdag 26 april keert de ploeg terug in Nederland. De komende week is de ploeg door middel van het verslag van reporter Harry Nap te volgen via deze website. Ook de Twitter van FC Groningen Jeugd wordt voorzien van de laatste nieuwtjes.
