FC Groningen TV is vanavond bij de opening van de FC Groningen Buurt Battle in de wijk Beijum. Daarnaast is er een voorbeschouwing op FC Groningen - FC Twente, een ruime samenvatting van Jong FC Groningen - Jong FC Utrecht en beleeft Groby weer een nieuw avontuur.
Vorige week begon FC Groningen voor de tweede keer met de Buurt Battle. In tien wijken in Groningen en Hoogezand kunnen deelnemers wekelijks punten vergaren om zich zo te plaatsen voor de finaledag begin mei in de wijk Vinkhuizen in Groningen. Donderdag kwamen de deelnemers in de Groningse wijk Beijum voor het eerst in actie. In het kader van de Meer dan Voetbal Week kregen allen een speciale aanvoerdersband.
Afgelopen dinsdag speelde Jong FC Groningen met 1-1 gelijk tegen Jong FC Utrecht. Dankzij het gelijkspel staan de Beloften van FC Groningen nog steeds op de tweede plaats in de Beloftencompetitie Divisie A. Op basis van de tweede helft had een overwinning er zeker ingezeten voor de FC. Maar het bleef bij een doelpunt van invaller Alexander Christovao.
Komende zondag speelt FC Groningen om 16.30 uur in Euroborg tegen FC Twente. De ploeg uit Enschede heeft nog niet gewonnen in 2013 en zal er ongetwijfeld alles aan doen om zondag te zegevieren. Aan FC Groningen de taak om dat te voorkomen en de drie punten in eigen huis te houden. Met Leandro Bacuna en Tim Sparv kijkt FCG TV vooruit naar de belangrijke wedstrijd van zondag.
Groby, de mascotte van FC Groningen, beleeft vanavond alweer zijn derde avontuur. Vanavond laat hij zich van zijn sportieve kant zien in sportschool Plaza Sportiva in Euroborg.
Let op: FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.55 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. Daarna is FCG TV om 22.50 uur te zien op EL 2. Zaterdag is de herhaling om 08.35 uur op EL1. FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur, waarna het tot 9.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
