Na vier nederlagen op rij slaagde FC Groningen er afgelopen vrijdag tegen Excelsior weer in te winnen. Dankzij matchwinner Lorenzo Burnet stapte de FC in Rotterdam met een 1-0 overwinning van het veld. FC Groningen TV was erbij en filmde onder meer ook in het uitvak. Vanavond begint FC Groningen TV om 18.00 uur op Eredivisie Live 1.
Het was het eerste doelpunt van Burnet in dienst van FC Groningen en daar was de linksback uiteraard zeer content mee. Ook trainer Pieter Huistra stond na afloop met een glimlach in de catacomben van het kleine stadion van Excelsior. Hij vertelde opgelucht te zijn met de drie punten die, na de mindere serie, hard nodig waren. Tevreden was hij ook met het vertoonde spel dat vooral voor rust bij vlagen goed was.
FC Groningen werd vrijdag niet ondersteund door de supporters van FC Groningen omdat zij het duel tegen Excelsior boycotten in verband met een verplichte buscombi. FC Groningen stond achter de actie van de fans en daarom gingen dit keer de directie, raad van commissarissen en medewerkers van FC Groningen in het uitvak staan om een statement te maken. FC Groningen TV ging mee het uitvak in en constateerde dat er fanatiek meegeleefd werd.
Vorige week kreeg Suk Hyun-Jun in Euroborg bezoek van drie Zuid-Koreaanse studentes. Hayeon Jang, Minjee Kang en Geun Youn Park uit Seoul studeren een jaar lang Economie en Bedrijfskunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In het kader van een uitwisselingsproject met universiteiten in Seoul krijgen ze de kans Suk te interviewen. De spits is namelijk enorm populair in Zuid-Korea. In deel 2 van de ontmoeting wordt Suk geïnterviewd door zijn landgenotes en komen we te weten wat het favoriete Nederlandse gerecht is van Suk.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhaling is op Eredivisie Live 2 om 22.55 uur. Woensdag wordt FC Groningen TV om 08.45 uur en 13.25 uur herhaald op EL 1.
