Voorafgaande aan de competitiewedstrijd FC Groningen – AZ, op zaterdag 17 november in Euroborg, zal bondscoach Louis van Gaal het eerste exemplaar van het boek 't Is mooi geweest uitreiken aan oud-FC Groningen teammanager Theo Huizinga.
In ‘t Is mooi geweest, dat is geschreven door journalist Emiel Venema – binnen Groningen ook bekend als programmamaker van FC Groningen TV – kijkt Huizinga terug op zijn tijd bij FC Groningen en vertelt hij over de meest gedenkwaardige, hilarische en emotionele momenten, zoals de hel van Bari, de zwartgeld-affaire en het tragische overlijden van speler Sixto Rovina. Markante personen Daarnaast laat Huizinga markante personen de revue passeren met wie hij bij de club samenwerkte, onder wie Renze de Vries, de familie Koeman, Fandi, Milko Djurovski, Joop Gall, Martin Drent, Ron Jans en Erik Nevland.
