FC Groningen TV heeft vanavond uitgebreide samenvattingen van Jong FC Groningen - Jong Vitesse/AGOVV en sc Heerenveen A1 - RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur A1. Daarnaast vertelt Paul Raveneau waarom hij volgend seizoen de trainer van de beloften van FC Groningen wordt en is er een korte terugblik op de 0-0 van FC Groningen tegen VVV-Venlo.
Maandagavond maakte Jong FC Groningen er een fraai schouwspel van tegen Jong Vitesse/AGOVV. Met zeer mooie doelpunten en een 5-3 overwinning maakt de ploeg van trainer Dick Lukkien nog steeds kans om als tweede te eindigen in de Beloftencompetitie. Maar hoe Jong FC Groningen na volgende week ook zal eindigen, dit seizoen was het bijna nooit saai om naar een wedstrijd van de Beloften van FC Groningen te kijken.
Net als de Beloften van FC Groningen presteert de A1 van de FC dit seizoen ook zeer goed. Afgelopen zaterdag werd er met 2-0 gewonnen van sc Heerenveen A1 zodat ook FC Groningen A1 nog kans maakt om als tweede te finishen in de eredivisie. Voor doelpuntenmaker Hans Hateboer en doelman Wieger Sietsma was het zaterdag sowieso een mooie overwinning want twee jaar geleden degradeerden zij, na een nederlaag in Heerenveen, met FC Groningen B1. De 2-0 van zaterdag voelde dan ook als revanche.
De huidige trainer van FC Groningen A1, Paul Raveneau, wordt volgend seizoen de trainer van de Jong FC Groningen. Hij volgt daarmee Dick Lukkien op die bij de eerste selectie assistent van Erwin van de Looi wordt. De 37-jarige Raveneau is sinds 2007 werkzaam binnen de jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen. Hij is een nieuwe tweejarige verbintenis overeengekomen met de Trots van het Noorden. In FCG TV vertelt Raveneau waarom hij de keuze heeft gemaakt om volgend seizoen een stap hogerop te gaan bij FC Groningen.
Zondag speelde FC Groningen in Venlo met 0-0 gelijk tegen VVV-Venlo. Door dit resultaat moet FC Groningen komende zondag nog een punt halen tegen Ajax om zeker te zijn van de play-offs om Europees voetbal. De FC had zich bij winst tegen VVV al kunnen kwalificeren. Maar de 0-0 was de juiste afspiegeling van de verhoudingen op bevrijdingsdag. Doelman Marco Bizot en Virgil van Dijk vertellen waarom er zondag niet meer in zat.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1 en om 19.00 uur op Eredivisie Live 2. De herhaling is te zien om 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op EL2. Woensdag wordt FCG TV om 8.30 uur en 13.15 uur herhaald op EL1.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur waarna het tot 9.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
