FC Groningen TV is vanavond te gast bij de voetbalschool van FC Groningen, kijkt met oud-FC Groningen keeper Brian van Loo terug op afgelopen weekend en kijkt vooruit naar de uitwedstrijd tegen Ajax met Marco Bizot en Johan Kappelhof.
Elke woensdag krijgen zo’n vijftig E-Junioren van noordelijke amateurverenigingen training op de voetbalschool van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur. Van die tweedejaars E-junioren blijven er aan het einde van het seizoen zestien spelers over die volgend seizoen de D3 van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur gaan vormen. De Voetbalschool staat onder leiding van D3-trainer Bote Talsma. Hij krijgt op de voetbalschool onder andere ondersteuning van Said Bakkati, de huidige rechtsback van FC Emmen en oud-speler van onder andere sc Heerenveen en ADO Den Haag. Bloedfanatiek Afgelopen weekend was Brian van Loo twee keer terug in Groningen. De oud-keeper van FC Groningen zat zondag als tweede keeper van Heracles Almelo op de bank in Euroborg en keepte maandag met Jong Heracles Almelo tegen Jong FC Groningen. Van Loo vond het leuk om na een half jaar weer terug te zijn in het noorden en oude bekenden tegen te komen zoals FC Groningen keeperstrainer Ruud Hesp en Dick Lukkien, de trainer van de beloften van de FC. Tijdens het duel met Jong Heracles liet Van Loo zien dat hij op zijn ‘oude leeftijd’ nog steeds bloedfanatiek is en moest onder andere Suk het ontgelden. Stunt Zaterdagavond gaat FC Groningen op bezoek in de ArenA voor de uitwedstrijd tegen Ajax. De FC wist in de ArenA nog niet winnen. Er werd twee keer gelijk gespeeld, op 2 december 1996 met 1-1 en op 2 september 2007 met 2-2. De laatste vier duels gingen verloren zonder dat FC Groningen wist te scoren. Voor Marco Bizot is het zaterdag een speciaal duel. De tweede keeper van FC Groningen doorliep de gehele jeugdopleiding van Ajax en staat voor het eerst voor een eredivisieduel op het wedstrijdformulier in Amsterdam. Ook voor rechtsback Johan Kappelhof blijven duels tegen Ajax bijzonder. Kappelhof is net als Bizot afkomstig uit de jeugdopleiding van de Amsterdammers en net als Bizot gelooft hij in een stunt van zijn huidige club, FC Groningen.
Let op: FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.55 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. Daarna is FCG TV om 22.55 uur te zien op EL 2. Morgen wordt FCG TV om 08.50 uur en 16.40 uur herhaald op EL 1.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur, waarna het tot 09.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
