FC Groningen TV kijkt vandaag terug op de wedstrijd tegen Ajax met Erwin van de Looi, Marco Bizot en Lorenzo Burnet. Daarnaast reageert Hans Nijland op de mogelijkheid dat FC Groningen - Vitesse, gepland op 22 maart, wordt uitgesteld en kijkt FCG TV terug op de historische ontmoeting tussen FC Groningen en sc Heerenveen van 21 december 2000.
Gisteravond verloor FC Groningen weliswaar met 2-1 van Ajax, maar speelde het een prima tweede helft. FC Groningen TV blikt terug op de wedstrijd met trainer Erwin van de Looi en volgde met de eigen camera Marco Bizot en Lorenzo Burnet tijdens de wedstrijd. Uiteraard reageren ook zij op het duel waarin ze zeker een punt hadden verdiend.
Komende zondag staat alweer de volgende wedstrijd op het programma; de derby tegen sc Heerenveen. De Derby van het Noorden werd 25 keer eerder in Groningen gespeeld. FC Groningen won thuis tien keer van Heerenveen, zoals op 21 december 2000. FC Groningen won toen in een ijskoud Oosterparkstadion met 2-1, ondanks dat de FC met tien man speelde omdat Hugo Alves Velame met rood van het veld was gestuurd. FCG TV kijkt terug op die bijzondere overwinning.
Afgelopen woensdag werd FC Groningen geconfronteerd met het feit dat de thuiswedstrijd tegen Vitesse, gepland op zaterdag 22 maart, vooralsnog geen doorgang gaat vinden omdat er niet voldoende politie beschikbaar is in verband met de Nuclear Security Summit 2014 (NSS) op 24 en 25 maart in Den Haag. Voor de FC kwam deze mededeling als een donderslag bij heldere hemel. Algemeen directeur Hans Nijland reageert in FCG TV op deze kwestie en vertelt tevens wat het FC Groningen financieel oplevert als PSV-spits Tim Matavz wordt verkocht aan het Russische Roebin Kazan.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.30 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 21.55 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op kanaal 5.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
