De bestuursactie van FC Groningen rondom de thuiswedstrijd tegen NAC Breda is door de deelnemende clubs positief ontvangen. Maar liefst 109 bestuurders en sponsorrelaties van amateurverenigingen aangesloten bij het Amateurconvenant FC Groningen waren afgelopen vrijdag aanwezig bij een uitgebreid programma in Euroborg.
Gezien de economische omstandigheden is het voor clubs steeds lastiger om sponsors te vinden en te behouden. Daarom biedt het Amateurconvenant jaarlijks al haar partners het arrangement van de bestuursactie aan om de relatie tussen clubbestuurders en sponsors te verstevigen. Wedstrijdvoorbeschouwing Voor de wedstrijd sprak algemeen directeur Hans Nijland de grote groep mensen toe en vertelde hij onder meer hoe FC Groningen op dit moment alles in het werk stelt om sponsors te binden en de relatie met hen te onderhouden. Natuurlijk eindigde Nijland met een uitgebreide wedstrijdvoorbeschouwing op het duel met NAC Breda. Na de toespraak werd er uitgebreid gedineerd om vervolgens de tribune op te zoeken. Na afloop van de wedstrijd kon de conclusie worden getrokken dat het een geslaagde avond was geweest. Daarom zal er ook volgend jaar weer een bestuursactie worden georganiseerd. Het Amateurconvenant FC Groningen ontvangt dan graag nog meer afgevaardigden van aangesloten amateurclubs.
