Jong FC Groningen gaat vanavond als koploper op bezoek bij Jong sc Heerenveen. In de wedstrijdselectie van trainer Paul Raveneau zijn maar liefst zeven spelers uit de A-kern opgenomen.
De Beloften hebben in de Divisie A 19 punten uit 9 duels verzameld en blijven op basis van een beter doelsaldo Jong Heracles Almelo voor. De Friese tegenstander van vanavond staat met 17 punten – net zoveel als nummer 3 Jong NEC/FC Oss – op de vierde plaats. De Derby van het Noorden bij de Beloften begint om 18.30 uur op sportcomplex Skoatterwald in Heerenveen.
Vanuit de A-selectie sluiten in Heerenveen de verdedigers Timo Letschert, William Ekong en Lorenzo Burnet aan. De middenvelders Rasmus Lindgren, Hilal Ben Moussa en Krisztian Adorjan en spits David Texeira completeren het zevental.
