Jong FC Groningen reist vanavond af naar Hardenberg om te spelen tegen Topklasser HHC van trainer Marcel Groninger. Het duel begint vanavond, dinsdag 16 juli, om 19.30 uur.
Na de 2-1 nederlaag bij Jong FC Twente van vorige week is de wedstrijd voor FC-trainer Paul Raveneau het tweede duel in de voorbereiding op de Beloftencompetitie.
Vanuit de A-selectie zullen Tom Hiariej en Género Zeefuik vanavond afreizen naar Hardenberg en van daaruit doorrijden naar Duitsland, waar de eerste selectie een vierdaags trainingskamp belegt. Ook Stefan van der Lei, Yoëll van Nieff en Richairo Zivkovic leggen dezelfde route af.
Bij de selectie van Jong FC Groningen is ook nog altijd gastspeler Angelo Cijntje aanwezig, net als A-junior Liban Abdulahi. Noureddine Boutzamar en Arjen Hagenauw zijn door blessures niet inzetbaar in Hardenberg.
De derde oefenwedstrijd wordt gespeeld op zaterdag 27 juli bij ONS BOSO Sneek. Het vierde oefenduel is woensdag 31 juli om 15.00 uur bij Jong AZ.
