Het maatschappelijke project ‘Framevoetbal on Tour’ won vorige week een prachtige tweede prijs in de verkiezing ‘Maatschappelijke Project Eredivisie 2020.’ FC Groningen heeft met het voetbalproject voor kinderen met een handicap één van de meest vernieuwende en impactvolle projecten van het jaar opgezet. De Vriendenloterij – maatschappelijk partner van de Eredivisie – reikte FC Groningen een cheque uit van 30.000 euro om het project verder te ontwikkelen.
Framevoetbal wordt door FC Groningen aangeboden via het geadopteerde G-team van de Trots van het Noorden, Kids United. FC Groningen TV maakte onlangs een special over Kids United met de 12-jarige Hakam in de hoofdrol. Hakam is framevoetballer en via het framevoetbal is zijn droom uitgekomen: schitteren als spits in het shirt van FC Groningen.
