FC Groningen TV heeft vandaag een gesprek met Nick Bakker die onlangs werd geopereerd aan zijn linkerknie. Daarnaast gaat Yoëll van Nieff schermen om zijn voetentechniek te verbeteren en kijken Hans Hateboer en Sergio Padt tijdens het FC Groningen G-toernooi vooruit naar de wedstrijd van komende zondag tegen Feyenoord.
In augustus raakte Nick Bakker opnieuw zwaar geblesseerd aan zijn linkerknie, de knie die na een zware blessure bijna geheel was hersteld. Een afgescheurde kruisband wierp Bakker weer terug. De eerste twee weken na de ingreep had Bakker het moeilijk, twijfelde hij over zijn voetbaltoekomst. Maar nu is hij weer positief en gaat hij hard werken aan zijn terugkeer. FCG TV sprak Bakker en merkte dat de jonge verdediger maar één ding wil: terugkeren op het voetbalveld.
Kan een voetballer voordeel halen uit het beoefenen van een andere sport? Als het om het verbeteren van voetentechniek gaat kan de schermsport uitkomst bieden. In het schermen is hand- en voetcoördinatie enorm belangrijk. Yoëll van Nieff volgde onlangs een clinic schermen van Henk Smit, trainer van Schermvereniging Heerenleed. Van Nieff voelde zich een echte musketier en bleek aanleg te hebben voor de voor velen onbekende sport.
Komende zondag gaat FC Groningen op bezoek in De Kuip bij Feyenoord. FC Groningen TV sprak Hateboer tijdens het FC Groningen G-toernooi, het toernooi waar hij ambassadeur van is. Ook Sergio Padt was aanwezig in Glimmen voor de elfde editie van het evenement. Net als Hateboer keek Padt alvast vooruit naar de ontmoeting van aanstaande zondag in Rotterdam.
FC Groningen TV wordt donderdag om 18.00 uur en 21.30 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie Kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt herhaald om 19.00 uur en 23.10 uur op kanaal 3. FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV, Ziggo kanaal 40. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
