FC Groningen TV kijkt vanavond terug op de bekerzege in Utrecht tegen Hercules en vooruit naar de thuiswedstrijd van zondag tegen FC Twente. Daarnaast is er een uitgebreid gesprek met Tom van Weert en vertelt Ludovit Reis hoe zijn debuut voor FC Groningen donderdagavond verliep.
FC Groningen plaatste zich donderdagavond voor de volgende bekerronde door in Utrecht zondag-derde divisionist Hercules in Utrecht met 2-4 te verslaan. In FCG TV komen de hoogtepunten voorbij met reacties van trainer Ernest Faber en doelpuntenmaker Juninho Bacuna. Ludovit Reis maakte tegen Hercules zijn debuut voor FC Groningen. De 17-jarige middenvelder kwam bijna een uur in actie. Hij laat in FCG TV weten tevreden terug te kijken op zijn eerste officiële wedstrijd.
Tom van Weert staat na vijf competitiewedstrijden en een bekerduel nog droog wat betreft doelpunten. In de voorbereiding op dit seizoen leek het er anders uit te gaan zien aangezien Van Weert de topscorer van de voorbereiding was van de FC. Van Weert komt vanavond uitgebreid aan het woord over zijn start van de competitie en de tegenstander van komende zondag: FC Twente. Tegen FC Twente hoopt FC Groningen de tweede competitiezege van dit seizoen te behalen. FCG TV blikt vooruit naar deze wedstrijd met Faber en Bacuna.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op FOX Sports kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt vanavond om 18.30 uur herhaald op kanaal 3 en om 0.15 uur op kanaal 5. Zaterdag is FCG TV te zien om 11.30 uur op kanaal 1 en om 16.15 uur op kanaal 3 en zondag om 13.30 uur op kanaal 3, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – FC Twente.
