In FC Groningen wordt vanavond om 17.55 uur teruggeblikt op de bekeruitschakeling door AZ. Hoofdrolspelers Leandro Bacuna, Virgil van Dijk en Tim Keurntjes komen aan het woord over de 4-2 nederlaag. Ook is er aandacht voor de Buurt Battle, oud-FC’er Joost Broerse en de historie van het duel met De Graafschap.
Met Bacuna en Van Dijk wordt ook ingegaan op hun contractverlenging. Afgelopen woensdag maakte FC Groningen bekend dat het contract van beide talenten is opengebroken tot medio 2015.
FC Groningen TV was zelf woensdag bij de kick-off van de FC Groningen Buurt Battle bij het Cruijff Court Oosterpark. De FC Groningen Buurt Battle streeft ernaar de saamhorigheid in de stadswijken Oosterpark en Selwerd te vergroten.
Afgelopen zaterdag was Joost Broerse met Excelsior even terug bij zijn oude club. Broerse speelde van 1997 tot 2003 voor de FC en trainde zelfs afgelopen zomer nog een aantal weken mee met de ploeg van Pieter Huistra. FCG TV kijkt met Broerse terug op zijn zes jaren bij de FC.
In het kader van de ontmoeting van komende zondag tegen De Graafschap wordt teruggekeken op het recente verleden van de uitwedstrijden tegen de Superboeren. Het blijkt dat FC Groningen de laatste jaren een positieve statistiek heeft in Doetinchem.
Tot slot heeft FC Groningen vanaf vanavond een nieuwe rubriek: Groundsman Peter Smit. Peter vertelt daarin regelmatig interessante wetenswaardigheden over het gras in Euroborg. Zaterdag wordt FCG TV om 14.10 uur herhaald op EL1. Zondag is FC Groningen TV om 14.10 uur te zien op Eredivisie Live 4, voorafgaande aan De Graafschap-FC Groningen.
