Voor FC Groningen/Cambuur A1 en B1 gaat het seizoen morgen los met de eerste bekerduels in het nieuwe seizoen.
Beide ploegen zijn ingedeeld in de poulefase van het landelijk bekertoernooi. FCG A1 speelt in Volendam tegen de plaatselijke FC terwijl FCG B1 op Corpus den Hoorn Emmen B1 ontvangt.
In de ochtenduren vangt FCG D3 de voetbalzaterdag aan met een oefenduel tegen Viboa C1. Vervolgens oefenen FCG C1 en de eerstejaars B-junioren tegen elkaar. FCG C3 speelt in Norg op het jaarlijkse toernooi om de Piet Fransen Bokaal terwijl FCG D1 in Nieuwegein om de United Jeugd Cup gaat strijden.
