Nick van der velden, Paco van Moorsel, Hilal Ben Moussa en Beloftentrainer Casper Goedkoop namen zondagmiddag na afloop van de laatste thuiswedstrijd in Euroborg afscheid van hun club.
Nick van der Velden (33) is bezig aan zijn tweede seizoen voor FC Groningen. Hij speelde zondag zijn 52ste officiële wedstrijd en scoorde in totaal negen doelpunten in het groen-wit. Onlangs maakte hij nog de winnende treffer in de thuiswedstrijd tegen SC Cambuur.
Paco van Moorsel (25) speelde in het seizoen 2012/2013 tien officiële wedstrijden voor FC Groningen. De middenvelder stond in dat seizoen viermaal in de basisopstelling. Vorig seizoen werd hij verhuurd aan SC Cambuur en dit seizoen aan de kampioensploeg van NEC in de Jupiler League.
Hilal Ben Moussa (22) is bezig aan zijn zevende seizoen bij FC Groningen en maakte in totaal twee keer zijn opwachting in de hoofdmacht. De middenvelder debuteerde in de uitwedstrijd tegen AZ (0-1) op 2 februari 2013. Op 3 maart 2013 speelde hij het laatste kwartier, uit bij Roda JC (4-1).
Casper Goedkoop was dit seizoen trainer van Jong FC Groningen/Cambuur, dat dinsdagavond nog op bezoek gaat bij Jong De Graafschap en maandag 18 mei de laatste thuiswedstrijd speelt tegen Jong FC Dordrecht.
