Bij AZ-Groningen ontbreken komende zaterdag AZ-coach Dick Advocaat en verdedigers Hector Moreno en Kew Jaliens van de Alkmaarders. Het drietal is voor één duel geschorst door de KNVB.
Moreno en Jaliens ontvingen een gele kaart in de uitwedstrijd bij Ajax en zijn automatisch geschorst. Dick Advocaat werd naar de tribunes verwezen vanwege aanmerkingen op de arbitrale leiding.
De AZ-trainer accepteerde woensdag een schorsing van één duel en dus zal komende zaterdag de coaching worden waargenomen door assistent Martin Haar. Overigens ontbreekt Advocaat een week later, op 7 februari ook al in de uitwedstrijd tegen Feyenoord. In dat geval omdat hij als Belgische bondscoach bij de loting van het EK 2012 aanwezig zal zijn.
