In FC Groningen TV laat directeur Hans Nijland vanavond in zijn wekelijkse nieuwsbrief weten dat het contract met trainer Pieter Huistra met een jaar is verlengd. Zowel Nijland als Huistra geven een toelichting op de contractverlenging. Daarnaast gaat Nijland in op de bekendmaking van de financiële jaarcijfers van FC Groningen over het seizoen 2010-2011.
Jong FC Groningen verloor gisteravond op Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn met 3-2 van koploper Jong FC Twente. In FCG TV is een uitgebreide samenvatting van de ongelukkige nederlaag van de FC beloften te zien.
Het eerste elftal van de FC was afgelopen zaterdag kansloos tegen PSV. Met Virgil van Dijk en Dusan Tadic wordt teruggekeken op de 6-1 nederlaag. Het duel was een weerzien met Tim Matavz. FCG TV sprak de oud-topscorer van de FC na afloop van de voor hem zeer succesvol verlopen wedstrijd.
Vorige week was Sinterklaas te gast bij het jaarlijke Junior Club-Sinterklaasfeest. De Sint liet tijdens het grote feest voor de jongste FC fans weten supporter van de Trots van het Noorden te zijn.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhalingen zijn om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op Eredivisie Live 2. Morgen wordt de uitzending herhaald om 08.45 uur en 13.20 uur op Eredivisie Live 1.
