Op Nederland 1 is vanavond vanaf 18.15 uur aandacht voor het Spelersfonds van FC Groningen. Onder anderen Hans Nijland en Danny Holla komen aan het woord in de economische rubriek van het actualiteitenprogramma EénVandaag.
De volgende inleiding is te lezen op de website van EénVandaag: De Eredivisie heeft het zwaar. De Nederlandse voetbalclubs voelen de gevolgen van de crisis en gaan op zoek naar andere manieren om aan geld te komen. Steeds meer clubs richten daarom een Spelersfonds op. Particuliere investeerders kunnen daarin aandelen kopen zodat de club meer geld heeft om te investeren. En mocht een speler later met winst worden verkocht, dan vloeit de winst terug naar de aandeelhouders.
