De eerste selectie van FC Groningen bestaat inmiddels uit een aanzienlijk aantal talenten die hun weg naar de top hebben gevonden via onze eigen Opleiding. Spelers zoals Thom van Bergen, Jorg Schreuders en Luciano Valente zijn stuk voor stuk voorbeelden van doorzettingsvermogen en talent uit het Noorden.
Deze spelers hebben de basis van deze prestatie gelegd in de regio, bij de lokale amateurvereniging. Dankzij alle trainers, coaches, vrijwilligers en andere betrokkenen hebben zij de stap kunnen maken naar waar ze nu staan. Ze zijn niet alleen een inspiratie voor onze supporters, maar ook voor de vele jonge voetballers in de regio die dromen van een carrière bij FC Groningen.
Debutantenclinics - Terug waar het ooit begon!
FC Groningen organiseert speciaal de Debutantenclinic voor spelers uit eigen opleiding die hun debuut maken in FC Groningen 1. Dit unieke evenement vindt plaats bij de amateurvereniging waar onze spelers ooit hun eerste stappen op het veld zetten. Het initiatief, georganiseerd vanuit Trainen als een Prof, is bedoeld om jeugdspelers van de amateurvereniging te inspireren en de verenigingen uit de regio te bedanken.
