Trainen in de Wijk.
Trainen in de Wijk is een maatschappelijk programma van Stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij. FC Groningen trainers trekken de regio in om samen met lokale buurtsportcoaches jeugd Meer en Beter te laten bewegen. Jeugd die aan activiteiten van Trainen in de Wijk mee willen doen kunnen zich (vrijblijvend) aanmelden via deze pagina.
Met het programma Trainen in de Wijk komt FC Groningen bijna letterlijk tot aan de voordeur. In verschillende dorpen en wijken in de provincie Groningen, Drenthe en Friesland brengt de club samen met lokale buurtsportcoaches jongeren in de leeftijd van 8 tot 16 jaar in beweging op de trap- en beweegvelden in de wijk. De sterke aantrekkingskracht van het merk FC Groningen zorgt ervoor dat jongeren naar buiten komen en mee bewegen. De beweegactiviteit wil geen drempels voor deelname opleggen door de reisafstand tot de locatie in de wijk te beperken, met de variatie in beweegvormen een brede groep aan te spreken en het compleet kosteloos voor jongeren aan te bieden.
