Zaterdag een noordelijke clash voor Onder-18, Onder-15 start competitie met thuisduel.

Vier ploegen uit de FC Groningen Opleiding spelen aanstaande zaterdag op Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn. FC Groningen Onder-18 neemt het op eigen veld op tegen SC Cambuur. FC Groningen onder-15 start de competitie met een thuiswedstrijd tegen LSC 1890. Ook FC Groningen onder-13 en Onder-12 spelen een thuiswedstrijd.
De voetbalzaterdag wordt al vroeg afgetrapt door FC Groningen onder-15. Deze lichting is dit seizoen voor de Opleiding ingeschreven bij de KNVB. De club constateerde in de leeftijd van 14 tot en met 16 dat in deze lichting veel spelers vroeg of juist laat rijp zijn wat betreft biologische leeftijd. Via FC Groningen onder-15 kunnen de spelers die fysiek nog niet zover zijn om aan te haken bij FC Groningen onder-16 op een goede manier worden bediend. De selectie onder leiding van trainer/coach/manager Willem Strijland start zaterdag om 09.30 uur aan hun eerste competitiewedstrijd. LSC 1890 is de tegenstander.
De jongste lichting Onder-12 speelt om 10.30 uur thuis tegen FC Twente/Heracles Academie, gevolgd door FC Groningen onder-13 dat om 12.00 uur aftrapt tegen SV Schalkhaar. Het sluitstuk van de voetbalzaterdag op Corpus is voor FC Groningen onder-18. De ploeg van trainer/coach/manager Melchior Schoenmakers speelt om 14.00 uur de kraker tegen SC Cambuur.
FC Groningen onder-21 gaat op bezoek in Doetinchem bij De Graafschap, aftrap 14.30 uur. FC Groningen Meiden onder-16 speelt uit tegen Lycurgus, aftrap 10.30 uur. FC Groningen Jongens onder-16 speelt vrijdagmiddag al. De uitwedstrijd tegen Excelsior in Rotterdam wordt afgetrapt om 16.00 uur.
