Speciaal Kerstdiner in Leonardo Hotel voor genomineerde Strijders van het Jaar.

Vijf spelers uit de FC Groningen Opleiding verdienden afgelopen kalenderjaar een nominatie voor de titel Leonardo Hotels Strijder van het Jaar. De genomineerden kwamen vlak voor de feestdagen samen bij Leonardo Hotels voor een speciaal kerstdiner. Zij keken terug op een leerzaam en mooi jaar waarin ze allemaal op een positieve wijze opvielen en een nominatie voor de eretitel van de Opleiding verdienden.
Yenio Holder, Jismerai Dillema en Mart Esschendal werden in het eerste half jaar genomineerd voor de titel Strijder van het Jaar 2024. Sven Bouland, die zijn nominatie in 2023 verdiende, ging er uiteindelijk afgelopen zomer met de eretitel vandoor. Avishay Lachman en Alex Mortensen pikten beiden in de tweede fase van het jaar een nominatie op voor de editie van 2025.
Vijf keer per seizoen kunnen trainers, coaches en managers een speler nomineren die in hun ogen in aanmerking komt voor de titel Leonardo Hotels Strijder van het Jaar. Na onderling overleg wordt er iedere keer één speler daadwerkelijk genomineerd. Om genomineerd te worden, moet de staf gedrag zien bij spelers dat past bij de kernwaarden van de Opleiding: aanpakken, reëel zijn en groeien.
De genomineerden van het kalenderjaar 2024 kwamen samen voor een kerstdiner in het Leonardo Hotel aan de Laan van de Vrijheid nabij Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn. Een gezellige avond waarbij de topsporters elkaar inspireerden volgde. Bekijk via onderstaande video de sfeerreportage.
