FC Groningen is deze week neergestreken in het Gelderse Epe, waar het een trainingskamp belegt. In het Noordoostelijke deel van de Veluwe bouwt trainer Dick Lukkien verder aan zijn ploeg. Tijdens het trainingskamp speelt de selectie twee oefenduels. De eerste oefenwedstrijd werd gewonnen, met 1-3 van Go Ahead Eagles. Beide wedstrijden zijn vanwege vergunningsredenen, opgelegd door de lokale autoriteiten, achter gesloten deuren. Hierdoor kunnen er helaas geen supporters bij aanwezig zijn. Vandaag is het weer tijd voor de inmiddels half-jaarlijkse hoteltour op het trainingskamp. Ragnar Oratmangoen mag het stokje van presentator overnemen van Jan de Boer.
De ochtend na de tweede oefenwedstrijd zal FC Groningen via YouTube een samenvatting met de highlights uploaden. Ook nemen we je mee achter de schermen in afleveringen van Check-In: Epe. Vandaag staat de vierde en laatste aflevering online.
Vandaag neemt Ragnar Oratmangoen jullie mee door Villa Heidebad, het hotel in Epe waar FC Groningen deze week verblijft. De middenvelder van FC Groningen is genomineerd als presentator door doelman Jan de Boer zelf, die de afgelopen trainingskampen zijn stempel drukte op de hoteltours in Murcia en Barsinghausen, en nu bij VVV-Venlo speelt. Ragnar komt allerlei spelers en staf tegen in zijn tour, en schroomt niet om een praatje te maken.
