FC Groningen speelt zaterdagavond in Alkmaar het uitduel met AZ in het derde tenue. Dit 050-shirt is een ode aan de stad Groningen en de Groningers. Het tenue is ontworpen door de Groningse popartiest Kraantje Pappie en is zijn interpretatie van het gezegde ‘Na regen komt zonneschijn.’ De uitwedstrijd van FC Groningen bij AZ wordt zaterdag 11 maart om 20.00 uur afgetrapt.
Na de succesvolle samenwerking van vorig jaar sloegen FC Groningen en Kraantje Pappie ook dit seizoen wederom de handen ineen. Samen met zijn creatieve team ontwierp de Groninger artiest een tenue waarin regen, bliksem, zonnestralen en de horizon zijn verwerkt. Het shirt staat symbool voor de Groningers die altijd strijden, knokken en hard werken.
Groningers staan voor elkaar, tegenslagen worden samen overwonnen en nieuwe kansen worden gecreëerd. FC Groningen had na de succesvolle release van het derde tenue het afgelopen seizoen wederom de wens een nieuw 050-shirt te laten ontwerpen. De club heeft Kraantje Pappie met zijn team hiervoor de creatieve vrijheid gegeven.
“Wij zijn het team van Kraantje Pappie en onze kledingpartner Robey Sportswear heel dankbaar voor de medewerking en zijn trots op het resultaat,” aldus marketingmanager Edwin Froma van FC Groningen. “Met het ‘debuut’ van dit tenue in de Eredivisie gaat het 050-shirt de geschiedenis in als officieel wedstrijdtenue. Het is een uniek shirt geworden met een bijpassend verhaal dat past in onze Word Groter filosofie.”
FC Groningen zal zaterdag 11 maart in de uitwedstrijd tegen AZ aantreden in het derde tenue. Het tenue is in een beperkte oplage uitgebracht en onder meer te koop in de webshop of de FC Groningen Store in Euroborg.
