FC Groningen speelt vrijdagavond in Oss om 20.00 uur tegen TOP Oss. In aanloop naar dit uitduel is de eerste selectie wederom gevolgd in de tweede aflevering van de serie ‘Ons Team’. Aandacht voor de training, nieuweling Noam Emeran en een oude bekende op Corpus den Hoorn.
Begin deze week was RTV Noord te gast op de training en werd een viertal spelers uitgekozen om mee te doen aan het item ‘Latje trappen.’ Een van de spelers was nieuweling Noam Emeran. De buitenspeler vertelde tijdens het wachten op zijn beurt onder meer over de betekenis achter de tatoeages op zijn handen.
Waar de Franse nieuweling zijn draai op Corpus steeds beter begint te vinden, kreeg FC Groningen deze week bezoek van een oude bekende op de training. De Braziliaan Hugo Alves Velame speelde lang in het eerste elftal en werd later jeugdtrainer binnen de Opleiding van de club. Hugo beleefde na zijn periode bij de FC verschillende buitenlandse avonturen en kwam voor even terug op bekend terrein. Uiteraard begroette Hugo tal van oude bekenden.
FC Groningen wordt vrijdagavond gesteund door 450 supporters, waarmee het uitvak in Oss volledig is gevuld. Na een internationaal weekend volgende week, staan er in het weekend daarna twee thuisduels op het programma. Vrijdagavond 15 september tegen ADO Den Haag, maandagavond 18 september tegen Jong PSV.
