FC Groningen OldStars en ZINN verrassen bewoners De Dilgt.

ZINN is sinds dit seizoen programmapartner van Stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij. Hierin ligt de focus vooral op het beweegprogramma voor senioren genaamd ‘OldStars’. De eerste OldStars-dagen zitten er al op. In totaal worden er op zes locaties van ZINN activiteiten georganiseerd waarin bewegen, samenkomen en gezelligheid centraal staan.
De eerste OldStars activiteiten werden georganiseerd op woensdag 11 januari. De activiteiten vonden plaats bij de woonlocatie De Dilgt in Haren. Een groep van ongeveer 20 bewoners werd uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan de activiteiten. Onder begeleiding van FC Groningen, OldStars en de medewerkers van ZINN werd de middag afgetrapt doormiddel van een hapje en een drankje.
De FC Groningen OldStars die mee waren vanuit FC Groningen vertelden over hun ervaringen van het Walking Football. Deze OldStars zijn echte ambassadeurs van Walking Football. Meer en Beter Bewegen kan immers op iedere leeftijd.
Na de koffie was het voor de OldStars tijd om een wandeling te maken door de omgeving rondom de woonlocatie. Tijdens het wandelen borrelden er mooie verhalen over de tijd in het Stadion Oosterpark, meerdere bewoners zijn hier opgegroeid of hebben er jaren op de tribunes gestaan.
Voor senioren is het belangrijk om goed in beweging te blijven, dit is de reden dat de FC Groningen OldStars de bewoners van De Dilgt meenamen om een rondje te gaan wandelen. Hun bezoek – samen met medewerkers van Stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij – maakte veel indruk op de bewoners. Een enkeling genoot zelfs met tranen van geluk van de heerlijke wandeling in de frisse lucht, het zonnetje en van de gezelligheid van de anderen.
Toen de bewoners terug keerden in het café van de woonlocatie stond er een quiz klaar. De quiz bevatte 20 vragen over de geschiedenis van FC Groningen, ZINN en De Dilgt. Na afloop werden de winnaars beloond met prijzen, ze ontvingen een Word Groter-bal. De maatschappelijke bal die door FC Groningen is gelanceerd om inwoners in het gehele verzorgingsgebied van de club in beweging te krijgen.
